Dismounted PF on FE causes "LOCAL DELIVERY" queue problem
Hi, I have dismounted the PF on our Exchange 2003 Front-End server due to the recommendation of Exchange Best Practises Analyser, but having done that creates the "local delivery" queue problem. Simply mail get stuck in this queue til I mount the PF again. Please give me an advice! Thanks Bash

On the mailbox database you left mounted on the FE, did you change the PF database it points to? It's a property of the mailbox database. That should resolve the issue for you.

Hi Bash, I am agree with Hotfix, please firstly check whether any Exchange Server mailbox Database point to Public Folder database. In addition, I also suggest that you attempt the following method to troubleshoot the issue: 1. Open Adsiedit 2. Configuration->Services->Microsoft Exchange->Organization Name->Administrative Group->AG Name->Servers->The FE server->Information Store->First Storage Group->Public Folder Store 3. Please right click the Public Folder Store and click Property 4. Clear the Value of Attribute msExchOwningServer 5. Force AD Replication and then check the result again. Mike
